A kitchen with a Northwest flair was just what these clients wanted.
The cork floors were all that remained of the previous kitchen. Their new, healthy, and beautiful kitchen includes cabinets of solid maple and plywood with no added formaldehyde, custom made locally by Coho Custom Cabinetry. The black granite counter tops were sealed with a no-VOC product and coordinate with the lighting and the cabinet hardware. Beautiful tiles that make up the back splash were handmade in Oregon and add some wonderful Northwest flavor. A large pantry, a wall oven, and roll out drawers were also included to increase the functionality of the space!
Small details such as an accent wall in the eat-in dining room, under cabinet lighting, and the pine tree tile design give the room personality and style, as well as improved function. This kitchen was quickly transformed from a dark and dated space, into the true heart of the home!
